L’isolamento forzato a causa del Covid-19 ha ridimensionato il nostro mondo in modo drastico.
Dove prima credevamo non ci fossero più limiti né confini, con possibilità e capacità di spostamento definite solo dal nostro poco tempo libero o dal poco denaro, ora l’emergenza sanitaria ha limitato il nostro spazio, costringendoci immobili nelle nostre case.
Quando prima soffrivamo perché il tempo non ci bastava mai, schiacciati da ritmi frenetici imposti ed auto-imposti, ora facciamo fatica a riempire nuovi spazi enormi e sconosciuti.
Ora che la nostra prospettiva è stravolta, ribaltata da capo a piedi, camminiamo sul soffitto in un mondo al contrario con poco spazio e tanto tempo.
Un mondo, quello casalingo, sempre dato un pò per scontato, un mondo di quiete, un rifugio sicuro, un mondo rigeneratore per avere cura di se e dei propri affetti. Un mondo necessario per riorganizzare le idee e progettare cose da fare, posti da vedere, persone da incontrare, una base di lancio verso gli altri mondi, ma un mondo risaputo e forse anche un pò stanco, un mondo che nonostante tanto ci regali, non suscita curiosità, come tutte le cose che, presenti tutti i giorni sotto i nostri occhi, diventano quasi invisibili.
Ma questa è l’occasione per imparare di nuovo, ripensando a grandi maestri, che c’è sempre un modo nuovo per vedere le cose, e fermarsi, da soli ed in silenzio, spesso può essere una possibilità per ricalibrare noi stessi ed il nostro sguardo sulle cose.

Forced isolation from Covid-19 has drastically reduced our world.
Just few days ago, we believed there were no limits or border, We tought we had the possibility, and ability ,to move everywhere, limited only by having no free time or by having no money, now the health emergency has limited our space, forcing us to be immobile in our homes.
When before we suffered because time was never enough for us, crushed by imposed and self-imposed frenetic rhythms, now we struggle to fill new huge and unknown spaces.
Now that our perspective is turned upside down, turned from head to toe, we walk on the ceiling in an upside down world with little space and a lot of time.
A world, the home one, always taken a little for granted, a world of quiet, a safe haven, a regenerating world for taking care of ourself and our affections. A world necessary to reorganize ideas and imagine things to do, places to see, people to meet, a launching base to other worlds. But a world well known and perhaps a little tired, a world that despite gives Us so much, does not intrigue us anymore, like all the things, that are every day under our eyes, becomes almost invisible.
But this is an opportunity to learn, again, thinking back to great photographers, that there is always a new way to see things, and stopping alone, in silence can often be a possibility to recalibrate ourselves and our look at things.
